Become a sponsor Sponsors, donators or Government representatives please feel free to navigate the site. We are a rising star in the Not-For Profit sector. If you feel there maybe some synergy and or our mission and values fit within your philanthropic criteria, then we invite you to review the following pages and select the area that most interest you and contact us. You can see
ways to align yourself with the MCC and help us get the word out that there
is help for minority contractors in the state of Connecticut. We welcome
your Support.
The MCC appreciates all of the contributions--large and small--that are
helping to make our organization something special,
It is our sponsors that, in large part, will make this organization be all that it can be. We offer four basic levels of sponsorship, with each level providing successively more exposure for the sponsor.
Bronze Level Sponsor: $10,000 Gold Level
Sponsor: $25,000 Platinum
Level Sponsor: $50,000
As a courtesy to our sponsors, sponsors may elect to host a breakfast,
breakfast buffet, lunch, or after hour’s hospitality room during the Gala.
The opportunity to host events is available on a first come first served
basis with preference given to those sponsors who return a signed contract
for the Platinum, Gold, Silver, and then Bronze sponsors. These sponsorships
must be reserved in writing with the MCC Executive Director. A
sponsored event other then our year end Gala is not included in the
sponsorship package and is in addition to any sponsorship level. Signage for
sponsored events is explained in detail in the sponsor contract
Charitable deductions
501(c)(3) status for charities and the related
section 170 deduction for donors are important to many charitable groups.
Some individuals and groups (and virtually all foundations) will not give to
a charity if it does not have 501(c)(3) status (as no tax deduction would be
allowed). Therefore, loss of this status can be harmful (if not fatal) to a
charity's existence. |
